Privacy notice
Our privacy notice is being finalised and will be published here. Until then, here is what it will say in short — and you can write to us with any question.
In short
- For the people who sign in to Ordwell, we decide what we collect and why. For the data a business keeps in Ordwell — its customers, suppliers and documents — we process it on that business's behalf and on its instructions only.
- We collect what we need to run your account: your name, mobile number, email, and how you use the product to keep it secure and working.
- Your data is stored in India.
- If you join the waiting list, we keep your email and whatever else you choose to give (name, business, mobile, state) to tell you when Ordwell opens to you and to honour the founding offer. Product updates only if you tick that box. Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 30 days, and entries that never become accounts 12 months after general launch. Every email has a link to leave the list; after that we keep only your email address, so that it stays off the list.
- The waiting list form is protected from bots by Cloudflare Turnstile. Cloudflare sees your IP address and browser details for that check, and nothing you type in the form.
- AI providers that read documents for you are contracted not to train on your data.
- You can ask to see, correct or erase your personal data, and to withdraw consent, as the DPDP Act allows.
- We name a Grievance Officer you can write to, and answer within the time the law sets.
